They also pioneered the use of jewel cantilevers, and still continue it with the Karat 17D3 - one of the very few cartridges with a solid diamond cantilever for ultra fast dynamic response. They also push state of the art cartridge design to the limits with flux damping, softened magnetism, use of alnico magnets and ultra thin lightweight armature windings. They also make one of the most unique and most innovative arms ever - the bi-axis inertia dynamic controlled DV-507 mkII tonearm.
